Will the RX-7 FD3S brake calipers work on the 240? They look exactly the same as 300ZX Z32 calipers.

Only if the spacing between the mounting bolts are the same, and the rotor offset must be the same as well. You'd probably need to see them side by side in order to know for sure.

I would think FD calipers are as hard to find as Z32 calipers. I you already have a set, just check the mounting bolts to see if they line up.

Are FC 4 piston calipers the same as the FD calipers?

The turbo FC models came with 4 piston calipers. The NAs came with standard sliders. If you ask people with Rx7s they'll tell you that theres no proof that the 4 pots stop better though.

some na (5 lugs) come w/4 pots. In other words, any fc w 5 lugs comes with these calipers. And yes, they are the same as the fd. (don't know if rotor is though).

Now, I have an fc, and I have 26mm z32 calipers, and the fc calipers are miniscule in comparison. I had the piston dimensions and what not, and I've seen the calculations concluding they have less clamping force than a ae86 caliper.
