Guys, let's all pay attention to what the high-school kid has to say. He's obviously much more knowledgeable than the rest of you.
Carlos, I'm guessing you're maybe 16, right? And the Versa is your first, maybe second, car? I'm also guessing you've never been on a track, never driven a high-horsepower car, probably haven't driven a RWD / AWD car very much, and are only arguing based on something you saw on the Internet, right?
We've established loooong, long ago that FWD cars don't drift. They may slide around as such, but it's simply not the same, as no power is being applied to the rear wheels, and as such, they're not spinning of their own accord. No need to post up a bunch of silly YouTube videos. We're all very familiar with what is (and what isn't) drifting.
We're glad to have you here, but my advice to you is to use the forums for learning.
You're not here to educate anyone, as many of us have been driving / wrenching / racing for decades. There's a lot here for you to learn, so take advantage of the opportunity and enjoy the forums.
p.s. The Versa IS slow. Painfully slow. Very, very slow. But it's a great, safe car for a rookie driver.
