i know a few of us here on NICO have posted about the idea of building a RWD Maxima...i didn't think it had been done before till i saw this

after much review...it looks like 4 seconds into the clip you can see some tire smoke come out of the front left wheel well and that tells me the front wheels are spinning, and the rears must be locked up with the e-brake. pfff

It's front wheel drive. He's using the e-brake to drag it's butt around.

If you want a RWD Maxima buy a Q45.

i had no idea that the rearend was able to be whipped that far

I doubt someone who had converted to RWD would keep running stock wheels...That's definitely not a RWD burnout, though. The front is pulling...if it were really RWD the rear would be leading.

I find my dad's 6th gen to be very tossable for a FWD car of it's size. Not as effortlessly obedient as my 3rd gen (whose rear-end doesn't have to ask "how high" when you say jump...it knows what you want and obeys) it's still impressively flickable. You can throw the back around. Or, as that video demonstrates, you can use the VQ's torque to muscle the back around.
