So say you have a 240 with a very stock looking exhaust.
Say it looks like these, note the fancy exhaust tip covers:
One day you come out to your car and something just doesn't look right...
Well, the driver's side exhaust tip got lost somehow, and now a narrow pipe with a hole rusted into the bottom of it (ghetto)
I just can't help but wonder why the hell that would happen, because it really doesn't snow in Washington, so salty roads shouldn't be a problem. It's possible my car is running a tad bit rich, which I'm unsure of how to test or solve that issue, but could it be the reason that it ate a hole out of the exhaust causing the tip cover to fall off? When it's light out again I'll try taking off the other one to see if there's any rust on that side.
Anyone know wtf?
