Kinda Nooob Question but...Well i the outher day, i bought another S13 and , i was goin to take the Exhaust off my old 240 and put it on the S13, i dont plan on taking it off from the headers, becuase its stock anyways, In the middle where the down pipe and the next pipe connect ( sorry i dont really know what this part is called) i think its called a catalytic converter..but the bolts to take the pipe off is rusted like crack, u cant even tel its a bolt any more, i put a socket on the end and tryed to get it off but it jus didint work, and i cant take the car to an auto garage because it dosent run ( well its does but if i drive it to much im making its problem worse ) very well so i have no choice but to try and take it off my self. Is there some home made **** u can put on to remove rust or should i break the bolt off

and yes i tryed WD40

You can:-Cut the tubes and re weld them-cut the bolt with a disc (if you have the room) the drill out the stud and install a new one- Try using a "bolt out" and plently of penetrating oil and heat.-break off the nut

they make these grip bolts that have a reversed spiral in them...they are sockets that work like the bits on a screw extractor. they are awesome. as you turn the bolt in the reverse direction the bolt will grip and bite tighter and tighter. You can get them at home depot and I think lowe's/ They are very good for getting off stripping bolts. they also have a 6 point edge on them so you can use a wrench if you cant fit a ratchet.

I will try to find a link

http://www.toolbarn.com/product/irwin/394001/

they do sell this at the other stores I just found it here faster
