Rustproofing?

Our G37 is in the shop for a new fender. Did these cars come with rustproofing on the underside? If so, I'll remind the shop.

A wierd incident and fix.... Suffered a parking lot incident (the "perp" did not leave a note) 1/2" deep, softball size dent, in the fender adjacent to the headlight rim, but not a mark on the paint finish. The headlight undamaged...... This insignificant "blemish" is nearly $1800 to repair. Seems the headlight bracket was damaged, and the same brachet broke loose from the fender, so it's bracket, headlight, and fender. Insurance adjuster has examined the fix, and agrees....... Unbelievable. If I wasn't such a car nut with a newish car, I wouldn't fix the blemish.

Aw man...sorry! People suck. Were you by any chance in a place that might have cameras in their parking lot?

I got a door ding when I had my G. It was a real deep one (probably done on purpose) right on the rear q/p on the lip to the wheel. Dent Dr. couldn't get to it because of the way the filler neck to the gas tank was placed. The body shop made a bigger mess than I had. I wished I had left it alone.
