Does anyone else have this problem. I'm at work right now so I cant take descent pictures to show what's there. But the paint's bubbling up around that area. Just curious if anyone else has the same thing going on and if anyone's had to do repairs.

This is very common on older cars that have had their windshields replaced. Often if the replacement is done poorly the paint gets scratched, which allows rust to form. It happened to my G20 and cost about $500 to have repaired to as new condition.

yeah, I had forgotten the windshield had been replaced...that would explain the issue. I'll get it all fixed when I get it repainted.

I'm debating on an electric daytona blue I found, I think it'll look nice

the blue would be hotness, with some black sparkle.

everyone else I've mentioned the repaint to has said the blue also, and that may be an interesting add with the black sparkle.

I will vote for blue also. Copper belongs on 350z IMO.

BTW if you dont mind me asking how much is the repaint running you? I am about to go get an estimate on my car.

Just went to see a guy today. Got quoted 300 for my rusted running boards.

He had some really nice cars ready for paint. A 79 LT1 vette, Chevelle SS, Bel Air, a Triumph, and a 69 Shelby Cobra

Looks like he does real good work. 4500 for the whole car. Maybe a bit more for the Q. My car will be done on thursday and Ill take some pics of the work.

Yea the car is not even worth the paint. I just want to cover up some imperfections.

I'm gonna go check out their work but my friend pointed me towards Earl Schibe, they have a special for around $500-$1000 depending on options and stuff. I know the particular color of paint is $45/gallon, I've never painted a car but I figure that should be sufficient to do an entire car. I've just gotta see if they'd shoot it with the paint I want or if I have to use what they have. And of course I'm gonna go looking around for more quotes. Once I actually have the money to go get it done.
