Hello, :)

I have a 1992 240sx that seems to have some hidden rust  . I noticed after driving in the rain and my floor was soaked. I have already gotten all the moisture out and have found the source ( http://i.imgur.com/EssJ8v3.jpg ) I am coming to you to see if anyone has an experience with this and can help shed some light on a solution to repair this. :poke:

Cheerios :wtf2:

Looks pretty bad...Looks like the previous owner tried to rivet pieces of metal to cover holes? The only thing I can recommend doing is cutting out the bad and welding new pieces of metal in. I had a couple small holes and welded patches in, but it was not on the corner or as bad as yours. Good luck to you

Its not crazy bad, defiantly fixable. Yes the previous owner seemed to have had some rust and just slapped some sheet metal, silicone and not rivets, just metal screws. The problem was is that it did not fix where the water came from only covered up what damage was. I'm planning to grind away as much as I can and get some new metal on there and seal it all properly. I wanted to see if anyone else had some sort of solution or best way to go about it.
