The Car I bought was a 1993 Nissan 240SX 3DR Hatch. It was sitting in a yard for about a year, and all 4 rotors, calipers, lines, all have what looks like a rust coating...do i replace all that or just sand the rust off?? also, on the tow truck on the way home, the sunroof, broke off the latch and shattered on the road...where do i get new sunroof glass for my 240sx and where would i find the replacement latch to fix it with...thank you!

glass - call around for local auto glass shops. they'll be fractions of what the dealer wants for them usually. Otherwise there is always the junk yard or the parts section of NICO and the WTB sections.

Depending on how deep the rust is, you can go gingerly on the brakes the first couple of times braking to get most of the rust off. If it's in real deep, you can try getting them turned, but the cost of turning old rotors, you can get some brembo blanks from nopi online for just a little more and they'd be new.

on the struts behind the wheel? where on the struts? on the bodies or on the knuckles or on the splash guard or hubs? any place in particular? I might be a little concerned about a huge flaking section on the bodies of the struts, but the splash guard....meh. on the hubs, nothin a little bit of triflow and a brush and a wipe from a nasty towel can't fix. and uh, on the knuckles...well I'd wipe it and see if it's pitted the metal and what not beneath the rust.
