Hey guys... I have a slight rusting under the paint spot at the end of the left rear wheel well where it touches the bumper. Any advice? Should I go try to sand it off and match the paint? Thanks in advance.

very common spot for rust on 90-96q-always on the drivers side rear wheelwell-mine has it along with most i check out in baltimore area-never on opposite passenger side leads me to believe there is a factory problem here-also common in rear door sills at the back bottom corner-both pass. and drivers side-not sure of the fix, inside of panel is not visible.hate to have to respray the panel and lose factory finish, but it is slowly growing!

Yes that is a common place for it..... I do agree with Qship, it wont EVER get any better, so if you care you need to fix it now!

The thing is, some Qs are worse than others.... ITs almost like certain build runs are bad.... My 94 built in 4/94 has no rust in that area, and has been neglected in the wash department during the winter, also used snow tires!.. However, ive seen other Qs that are more meticulous and they still have rust...

Pretty much every Q ive lookedat has little rust bubbles under the rear doors in the door sill... The most Ive seen in person is a few little bubbles and thats certainly something you could sand/paint at home, since its not really obvious.
