I have some rust in the frame rails as well as the wheel well walls. Now what gauge sheet metal is required for oem or sturdiness. I'm more concerned about the fram rails as i dont want to use too thin as to where its not sturdy or too thick cuz it gets expensive. thanks.

18 for the sheet metal. Frame rails vary from place. Mine was rotted and it was cut out and 1/4 inch steel plate put in its place.

let me think over lunch, but i remember coming across a site that had pieces of pre-formed metal to patch you frame with. they were 240sx specific too.

Thanx but i do not see me paying 200 dollars for that. I bought some sheet metal today anyways and repaired some rust holes. I'm gonna buy some 16 gauge tomorow and repair the frame.

Thanx for the help though.
