rust problem

hey i got a question i bought a 95 240sx n it had rust on the rear quaters panels, side skirt areas both sides, trunk lid, and inside the wheels wells, and bubbling on the passenger door area. any 1 have any ideas on how to resolve it without going to a body shop

take it to your local community college or automotive welding class and talk to the instructor they will most likely do it for free if your nice and if they dont have to many projects.

if you cant find a college to do it there is a few things you can try.....based on the size of the hole....sand down all the rust....and buy stuff called kitty hair....its a fiberglass resin that you can build up and sand down and cover with bondo....or if you have access to metal and a welder you can cut around the rust and tack weld in replacement metal and grind it down and bondo it over the new spot......all time consuming and take some practice but can have good results alot cheaper
