rust on strut tower

hey guys, im looking at purchasing a 1993 240sx convertible in the fear future. I found one that is in good condition but i notice it does have some rust on the strut tower. How bad is that? is it repairable? and what else should i look at when purchasing a used 240? Any info would be great. Sorry at the moment i do not have any photos of the car or the rust. Thanks, aaron

You have to state how bad the rust is before you ask,like is it rusted through the tower or is it just surface rust. If it is just surface rust,you can just sand it use rust inhibitor and paint it. On my friends his rust went through but it was not structural so we repaired it with fiberglass and you cant tell it was ever rusted.

i also have rust on my strut tower and also dont have a pic of it lol...but mine is right at the seam on the top that kinda circles around the bolts for the strut...ill try to get a pic later today
