cut the rust out and replace with sheet metal then weld it in. only way to gte it all out. cheap way that is a temp fix is fiberglass bondo on it. sand down all you can then fiberglass bondo it . then sand again to smoothin it out. good luck

looks liek its only bubbled up..not eaten down into it too bad..but you need to go and take out your windsheild, gasket..and you need to sand that down..if its too pitted and flimse, your gonna need to have it welded, and i can tell you that in that spot, you looking at quite a bit of denaro to get that done..

ITs a cut & paste (weld) jobBe sure to remove the front glass to do it properly.

Your in luck this a pretty straight forward repair a few years ago the only way to fix this was to cut out the bad metal and replace it with new, But that not allways the case anymore. This kind of rust can easily repaired using POR-15 products just follow the directions and you'll do fine. For this kind of repair you will need 3 of the POR-15 items 1. Porpatch 2.porputty and 3 POR-15 paint. Once the windshield has been removed and the areas prepped you will brush on the POR-15 paint let it dry and apply a second coat, If the surface is fairly smooth then go ahead and mead some of the porputty and work it in you then can wet your hands with water and smooth it out if you work and smooth it you should be able to get it almost perfect. then after it cures sand and blend it. Then all it's left is to finish it by wet sanding prime and paint. The porpatch you might not use but keep it the uses are almost endless. You can get on the POR-15 websight and read about all of the products. I work for a government contract as a corrosion control technician I have used alot of products but this is by far the best if you use it correctly it will never rust again.
