So what's a good rotor that will not rust over time? Not looking for slotted/drilled stuff. And to the people that have the slotted rotors, are you able to resurface them?

You can cut slotted / drilled but as cheap as they are now a days toss them out.

Rust well its metal and its bare, if the car moves often its not an issue.

The rusting that i'm concerned with is where the rotor meets the hub. On the outside, they always seem to rust. I know it will not affect performance of the rotor, but it just gets to me how they rust on that spot.

you can paint the whole rotor and the brakes will take the paint if were they rub so that way anywere that the pads dont rub will be painted and therefore shouldnt rust

Get the rotor Zinc coated.

Areas where the pads meet should wear off, and areas like the vains and the part that meets the hub should not rust.
