Rust already?? Is this ok?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Just had my new car for 2 weeks. Loved every moment of it...I happened to parked on an incline today and saw the rusts from the muffler. What is going on? My 10+ yr Accord and Odyssey don't have that. Is this normal? Do you guys have that too? Should the dealer / manufacturer fix it before it gets out of hand?

Cosmetic annoyance only.

surprisingly i have more on the 2010 than teh 09...not sure why.

but yea, it's there, not a big deal. depends on where the car is left, and where it was stored on dealer lot/storage facility + environment factors.

all that snow and crud will get surface rust on the pipes very fast
