Hey everyone, I'm new to the Nissan game my project for the last year and a half has been my 1994 Prelude which I am keeping as my DD and rebuilding this 1995 S14 as a weekend car.

Anyhow bought the car couple days ago in Roanoke Virginia, drove it 10 hours home on a bad clutch and wanted to die when I hit traffic on the Jersey turnpike lol. ( I live on Long Island)

Ignore the fact that my yard is disgusting my dad does not like to throw things out

PURCHASED 7/22/10

What the 240 has now:
17x8 Weapon MBs Bronze 215s front 225s rear
Eibach springs
KYB GR2 struts
5 lug swap
300zx front calipers
stainless steel brake lines
A very very bad clutch
No rust :)

What's wrong with the car:
Hood's messed up from driving under a trailer hitch
Couple dings
Rear bumpers cracked
Paint is in decent shape
Passenger side power window stopped working (after I brought it home)
Needs a new ignition cylinder

What are my plans:

First off this is going to be a complete rebuild going on over the next 2-4 years depending on what my job situation is.

Paint - Full paint job engine bay & interior - Root Beer Metallic - [Yeah honda paint colors!]
Drivetrain - RB25DET swap bolt ons at first eventually building for more power once the car runs
Wheels - Either BBS or Work VS-XX / Meister S1s
Suspension - All new energy suspension bushings, coils, etc.
Interior - Haven't decided what route i'm taking. All I know is there will be at least a harness bar and one racing seat

The first step will be the teardown!

Pics of my prelude just for s*** and giggles:

Going to strip out some more of the interior right now and try to figure out why the car is running like complete s***. Maybe even find out where this gas leak is coming from. Will post some more pictures later tonight.

Any criticism/ suggestions / comments are appreciated :inout:

Wow haven't updated this since I got the car okay some progress:

Interior is stripped
almost all Sound deadening removed
headlights removed (preparing for lexus RX330 w/ TSX-R clear lense retrofit)
Gotta remove a couple last things then pulling the motor and prepping for paint
Also done random little things here and there with the car some pics cause i'm a picture whore

Still need a lot of cleaning in the interior before I prep for paint, I know

havent updated this in a bazillion years here's some updates:

I've decided to not go with an rb25det because my dad is moving to south carolina..well, now. He leaves on thursday so I am in a pinch. I have until the house sells to finish this car and make it run.

SO, here's whats happening, paint is on hold. When I pull the engine, the bay and the interior will be painted satin black (I wanted to do this in the first place just gives me more of a reason)

Then after the engines pulled and bays painted, I'll be putting an sr20det (begin tears, but alas, there is a silver lining!) sr20 with all new gaskets, seals, hg, head studs, cleaned and painted all purdy. And I'll be running (most likely) a gt2871r, 740 cc injectors, etc. etc. I'm not going to list all the random s*** like FMIC! oh noes how original. lol

after that's going on paint will be next, still rbm.

mad progress pics: Go!

things left to order:

Mishimoto dual core rad
Mishimoto dual electric fan
New oem radiator hoses
Blitz FMIC and piping
Blitz DD Bov and hotpipe
AEM Wideband gauge and o2 sensor
3" turbo elbow and downpipe with o2 bunges
Fidanza 6 puck ceramic clutch kit
fidanza 11 lb flywheel
Oil catch can
255 lph fuel pump
short shifter

as always comments complains suggestions always welcome
