#3 Invade Venezuela.
j/k
I think we are on year 1 of a multi year/multi million dollar Military Aid agreement with Georgia. So far we have only given 30 million dollars in Military Aid to the country.
To be honest, when those Humvees were transfered control to the Georgian Military, they ceased to be ours.bud
Threats take on many forms. I really don’t view the Russian Federation as the threat. I grew up hating the Russians from the old Cold War days and now I tend to steer away from that old Cold War Rhetoric. The US Media along with certain politicians do the American people a disservice by trying to perpetuate this old mentality. You are shown the aging Pacific or Atlantic fleets rusting in Murmansk or Vladivostok, giving you the perception that the Russian Federation’s Military is weak. Yet the Military move some 9 divisions into South Ossetia and Abkhazia in a matter of days. And when Russia flexes its muscles what do people say? “There they go again, a totalitarian regime trying to take over the world.”Qwerty1942 wrote:

Bob, you made me laugh with that illustration. Uh we broke this Humvee (that we stole), I think its still under the GM Power Train Warranty. Sorry Igor that warranty does not transfer to the next owner.rn79870 wrote:I think we should definitely refuse to honor any warranty claims they might present.
Actually this is not without president. Russia took 3 or 4 B29s from us when they made an emergency landing in Russian in WWII.
I totally agree with every word in this post. +1Cold_Zero wrote:

Let’s look at Central Asia. When the US negotiated an Air Base in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan the Russians didn’t go ballistic. To be honest, the Uzbek people later kicked the US Air Force off their base because of declining relations. Even Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania joined NATO and while Russia was not keen on the idea, they didn’t re-assert their power and invade these countries. I honestly think that Russian doesn’t want to wake up some day in the future with Nuclear Missiles parked on their border and NATO troops massed for an invasion. Some of this stuff is a reaction to NATO and the West’s advancement into Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. I would much rather the US attempt to forge a friendship with the Russian Federation, rather than pursuing a combative relationship with them.
I guess my question is why is it that the West (specifically the US) is the only one allowed to have Global Ambitions?
They'll import them from a Chinese sweat shop, stamped with a counterfeit "GM" and "Made in the USA" label. And they'll be loaded with lead and lots of other bad things.OriginalWheelman wrote:The real question is, where in Russia are they going to get 7 DVD screens and 22" rims?
