Hi Guys!

Is proud to present its 2007 M35x. My M35 is living in Russia (Moscow / Moscow region) Until I drove it 2008 Ford Escape (very nice car, I still love it ). M35 is not a popular car in Russia, unfortunately, our people love and enough FX35 SUV. My mileage now ~ 90000miles, condition is very good now, but the last owner was kind of *****, I must immediately change:

- Wheels and tires
- Front crankshaft
- 4 hubs
- All lower arms and all front/rear suspension with 4 schocks
- Front and rear brakes (pads/rotors, and all calipers)
- Some electrical parts
- Power steering
- All oils and fluids

I bought him very inexpensively (less than 17000k$) and invested over 4k$ :) Now he runs as new and looks as car with minor damage. VQ35DE is the best jap engine as I ever know. His average, powerful etc. No words only emotions. This is my first car where I like to drive with open windows and moonroof, in Escape this “style” was uncomfortable.

i cannot saving photos on this forum, now.

Don’t be surprise about pricing – in Russia all is very more expensive than in yours country, thanks for it to mr.Putin and his friends.

Now I have a little problem – I wanna to install AUX in my car (it’s strange, but he haven’t it in stock), anybody knows how to do it?

Very like to speak with all

If you aren’t don’t mind.

Respecfully,
Michael Poll

(sorry, I'm Ukrainian so my Russian isn't as good)

For the English members:

Michael, hi. If you want to install AUX into your car, I suggest you research the USA Spec. PA15-NIS or USA Spec. PA15-INFI (depending on if you have satelite radio or not). The infomation for these devices can be found in the FAQ thread below (located in my signature). I have the PA15-NIS in my car and I absolutely love it. You can see my video on YouTube.

No problem. Definitely get the USA Spec. It is the best unit with AUX for this car.

Also, I feel bad for your car lol. I know how bad the roads are in Ukraine, so I can imagine Russia is similar. Seems like every car has blown shocks/struts/links, etc.

Where in Russia are you from? If you are close to Moscow/Putin, can you please go kick him in the balls for what he has done to my country? Thanks. Much appreciated.

Ilya, political disputes - is longest dialogue:)
I hate Putin for :
- highest prices in Europe on living rooms, apartments, etc.
- lower than in Europe pensions and salaries
- highest transport tax for ex: I must to pay over 1200$ per year for my M35x. Transport tax in Russia looks so: if you have more than 250hp, your tax is 6$ by 1 horse  if less than 250hp - 1,25$ by 1hp
But Putin makes some things, which isn't bad:
- our police standed more qualifier and 70% of them don't takes bribes...
- peoples, who working in government agency (medical, teachers and others) have a good salary. My mom works in school, earlier she has beggarly salary - 300$ per month, now ~3000$; my father is professor in 90th he have 100-700$ in month, now more than 8k$ in month...
I live in Moscow region, Elektrogorsk city ~ 40miles from Moscow, working in Moscow.
Three years ago I sold US used cars in Russia:)
Now it's my hobby :yesnod
Roads in Russia much better than in Ukraine. Two last years I went to rest in Crimea( he is our now  ) on my ford escape.

Help me please: how I can add my car photos in this topic?:)
American M35/45 has rear electrical seats?

Yeah, Crimea is a sore subject for us Ukrainians. It was a messed up situation.

Anyway, to upload pictures review the FAQ thread located in my signature. This thread shows you how to do a LOT of things on your car, including how to upload pictures.

What anybody knows about oil appetite?
In my country part of people think that VQ35DE must to eat 1 liter on ~1000 miles and that good.
But some of mechanics tell me that he should not to eat oil...
My m35x in winter has a good oil appetite, but now in summer he can eat 0.5 liter on 1500miles... Is that good for my engine?
:wtf2:

I would just fill it up as needed, but...my car eats virtually zero oil between changes.

Maybe try a different type of oil such as synthetic vs non-synthetic, etc. I am not sure what they sell in Russia for oil.

Earlier i used Nissan OEM 5W30, and he has started eating oil.
Now Motul 10W40 and life is good, he eating, but this appetite moderate.

Which oil you using?

I use Mobil 1 5W30, but it is synthetic. Nissan OEM probably isn't synthetic. Is Motul?

Why so big tax in your country?

I thought, that only Russians have the biggest tax on the good car...

I thought we had it bad with the vehicle renewal stickers but yearly taxes of $1064 EU would drive me to ride my bicycle or get a motorcycle.

Cars aren't a necessity in much of Europe like they are in the US. In the US, without a car, unless you live in a decent sized city, you will NOT get around. If you live in suburbia or further out, you NEED a car.

I'm from Ukraine...people walk EVERYWHERE. Owning a car there is like you owning a boat here...just something you do if you have money for the most part.

It's so expensive because the "year"tax is based on carweight. The M37 is a heavy car, so the tax is huge.
And this is just petrol. When you want to drive on LPG, the tax is approx 50% higher.
When you drive diesel, the tax is around 100% higher. So the diesel M30 is ~2000 euro yearly tax!

And that's not it. The newprice has also a huge extra tax because of the high CO2 of the M37 (I belive 't's 232 g/km). The M37S Premium was at the end of 2012 total newprice 72.000 euro (that's a whopping 97.000 dollar). And the taxes are higher again for 2014 so I think the new Q70 (well, it's the old M37 but whatever...) will be even more expensive than that.

Most people around here are buying new small cars because of those tax issues. But for car lovers as we are it's not good.

Of course, that's true. And a comparision with Ukraine or Russia is not completely honest because the income here in the Netherlands for most people will be higher. But in comparison with a country as Germany of the US, car owning in Holland is really expensive.
