I have a SOHC that runs great when its cold but when hot it sputers real bad in the 1000 to 1800RPM range only under load. If I hold it at around 1300, well it just dosn't want to run there.

I'v tryed a new o2 sensor but no luck.

Clean the connection to the coolant temp sensor (2 wire).

It is the red one that is on the intake manifold, on the upper coolant/radiator neck.

And check your ecu codes before you do this, more than likely you will get a code 13. Clean the temp sensor connection and then pull your battery cable for 30 sec, then reinstall.

You should get code 55 if everything is working properly.

And btw, in its current condition, be very careful stopping/starting the car when it is warm, you can easily flood and strand your car for hours until it cools down or you fix the sensor/connection.
