Running Wires- How Do You Pop Off The Floor Piece?

Going to be installing my stereo tomorrow in my QX4, so I need access to underneath the carpet to run my power/remote and rca's. Took a quick peek at the plastic/metal that holds down the carpet along the side and couldnt see any screw or clips that hold the plastic piece down.

This is in an 01 QX4 if it matters. Are those panels just clipped on and simply need to be pried up?

Any advice for running any of the wires?

Yeah you just pull up on the pieces. It is held in with a series of clips.

When reinstalling, make sure the metal piece (part of the clip) is on the plastic piece that you pulled off, sometimes when you pull it off the metal part of the clip will stay in the floor of the car, its simple you'll see it. Very easy.
