My motor has only about 55k on it.
Im running megasquirt

I just ordered:
-Nismo thermostat
-waterpump oem
-belt tensioner
-idler pulley
-full gasket kit
-N1 oil pump
-oem timing belt

IIRC the only difference btwn the turbo and non is the pitson thinckness and injector size. minus the turbo also.. Is that accurate?

Can I just run a thicker aftermarket head gasket and arp head studs for ~400 rwhp? are arp rod bolts or main studs nesseccary? What size thickness should I buy and what brand?

IIRC..swap out the pistons with DET pistons and larger injectors...then you should be fine.

depends on what block you have, r32 rb25de also lacks oil squirters but yet is tapped for coolant and oil lines.

you'll be high CR so your timing and max boost will be somewhat limited, however this high cr will yeild fast response and quicker spool compared to a DET bottom end.
I know for a fact the r32 rb25de is 10.5:1 cr, so you'd want a rather thick hg to drop CR down to something reasonable for alot of boost...cometic will custom make a hg for you (friend had a 3mm one made for his neo engine w/ r33 pistons, 11:1cr fail).
