setup:z32MAFSSilvia 370cc injectorsS-AFC II

started getting some problems with sporatic A/F. Got worse and worse. now its 'idling' at 9.5:1 !!!!!! Its nuts.

I switched back to the stock MAFS and made appropriate changes on the S-AFC II, but its still running rich as a pig. Shooting big flames and all that. I know about a million things I could try to resolve the probem, but are KA's specifically vulnerable to a specific problem that might cause this?

I've checked the injector wiring, and it looks fine to me. Tomorrow, im gonna try switching back to the stock ignition (now running a Crane) and checking the dist cap/rotor which only have about 5k on them.

Any ideas appreciated :)

check your cold warmup solenoid, the connection and unit itself. This caused rich symptoms on my car a while back.

It could be that the O-ring gasket on one of your injectors is slightly ripped, and a lot of fuel is rushing by. Mine was ripped just a little bit, and my car would not want to idle. It was fine under partial or full throtle, but the fuel was even leaking out of the exhaust pipe due to this. When you installed your injectors did you lubricat the O-ring gasket. If you do not do this they tend to rip when installed. Nissan tech suggested that you use Bosh grease to lubricate the O-ring.
