I've been having issues trying to fix a problem with my redtop SR (gt2871r .64) running rich at idle and on the throttle. I've replaced my coolant temperature sensor, my plugs several times, have a new z32 maf on the way, swapped out my MSD 72#ers for another set, getting a new O2 sensor tomorrow, and I've had to modify my tune to lean it out enough to make it drivable (as its my DD right now). I recently fixed a boost leak off one of the break booster lines as well. Since fixing the leak, I've noticed that my car will alternate between running really rich (10.0-11.5) while just cruising, but will slowly lean out and run back in the 14's and lower 15's for a short bit, then richens back up to the 10's or 11's. None of this, is with me even giving the car 50% throttle, bc I don't want to mess up my DD. I have a daughterboard on my ECU that allows me to run a program called TunerPro5. I can manully adjust the fuel map (although I haven't bc I really don't know too much about tuning) as well as timing and other aspects. I've had to actually adjust my current tune for 825cc injectors (instead of the 756cc the MSD's are,) and lower the latency (sitting around .700 msec's) and K-value (down to about 41300). I am planing on taking it to a tuner, but need to make sure that it's not just the tuning. Any other suggestions?
