running rich

Hi guys. I need some help, I think my car is running rich bc everytime i delecerate it makes lots of popping sound and also i get really bad gas milage...about 500km per tank approx 60L. Any help would be great guys.:help

What is your air/fuel ratio and do you have a super afc or any tuning instruments?

Your o2 sensor(s) would be something to check. Although with mileage that bad, you may have something else going on.

*edit - After doing the conversions and calcs, ~20mpg isn't all that bad. Could very well be the oxy sensor. This is assuming a mix of ciy/hwy driving.

Also check your coolant temp sensor. Mine was bad and making my car run VERY rich.

Thanx guys I'll try that tomorrow and I don't have an afc yet.
