I got an s13 with the KA24DE in it, no major mods done to it. I do have headers on the car, bored out the cat, and bypassed the egr with a plate Other than those things everything is pretty much stock. I got white smoke coming out the back, alot! If I mess around with vacuums then sometimes the smoke is not as bad. It idle fine, its when I go full throttle that I run rich. Any suggestions? Heres a picture of the motor. Notice no EGR. Thanks for the help in advance

I don't like the sound of alot of white smoke as you mentioned. Is your ecu throwing any codes? You might be running rich all the time, but just notice it at full throttle? Make sure that your o2 sensor is working properly. Cleaning your maf sensor with crc maf cleaner wouldn't hurt either, it's like $7.

Well I forgot to mention that I did try to clean the MAF, O2 sensor is brand new. Its doing it when I open the throttle not at idle according to my air/fuel gauge. I just went to go see if I had codes and I do. I got a code 12, 13, 33 and 45. Im going to check it out right now. Thanks for your help.

12 mass air flow sensor

13 coolant temp sensor

33 front o2 sensor

45 injector leak

----------------------

from http://www.240sx.org/faq section...

well, if you fiddled w/ any of these,

then recheck connections,

clear/reset the ECM

then retest for trouble codes...

hopefully, your ECM will now see these sensors again & won't be running too rich GL!

Replaced the coolant temperature sensor and the fuel injectors, code 45 went away but the other codes remain. I tried to clear the codes but I couldnt. Im going to do another search to see how to do it again.

clear the codes with a pulling the - terminal on the battery for 5-10 minutes and see if the codes pop back up.

Thanks 180fan, it worked for two codes now I got a code 12 left and a spare MAF sensor, I just got to see if its going to work. Its not for a 240, Im going to cross reference the numbers.
