Ok, well I have had the SR for awhile now and I realize that they run pretty rich stock. I am still running the stock SMIC at stock boost. I was getting horrible gas mileage when I was always boosting so I shift at 3000-3200RPMs now and I am getting between 18-20MPG. What I was thinking was, should I go the SAFC route and adjust my A/F there or should I just save some more money up and go full standalone ala AEM EMS? I know I could use the SAFC until I got a bigger turbo and then I could sell it off and get the EMS, but should I just get ahead of the game and go the EMS route now? I have been thinking about this for awhile now and need some others opinions.

a list of your mods would help determine what you need. if you're running pretty close to a stock sr, then the ems is completely unnecessary right now. even people who have quite a few upgrades still only run a piggyback or a retune just because it works pretty efficiently.
