I have a stock setup and I'm running really rich to the point that it misfires. I smell raw gas. I'm running a stock ca18det maf and everything else is stock with FMIC. I pulled the plugs and o2 sensor and they were BLACK. Should I change just the plugs or the plugs and the o2? Also which o2 is better for a stock setup 85 200sx turbo or 88 pulsar?

I had a similar problem. Do you have the knock sensor hooked up? That solved it for me. It's also possible that your ECU isn't tuned properly.

I bypassed my knock sensor with a 1 meg ohm resistor. My ecu gave me code 55.

If you're sure it's grounded correctly that should work. It worked for me before I got a knock sensor plug.

Don't know what else to say in that case. I'm sure someone can help you though.

Good luck,

Darian
