I just bought an s13 with a blacktop, it ran fine for the first week I had it. Now it seems to have a slight loping idle, the narrowband(I know, not too accurate, but gives a general idea) constantly reads full rich. Even under decel it doesn't want to flip over to lean. Also, it backfires quite a bit. Could this be a faulty o2 sensor? I have a DP, full exhaust, cone intake. Thanks for any help

Joe

No leaks of any kind that I have found. The BOV is vented to the atmosphere, and I know about it almost dying because of that. But I dont think that should effect anything else.

stock bov if routed atmospherically gave me nasty rich problems and ive heard the same for others

as far as backfiring....pretty much a "gimme" with most turbo cars at some point

I'm venting my Blitz BOV into the atmosphere and I have a slight hesitation/miss in low RPM (when trying to stay out of boost), so you're not the only one. I also have the decel feature set at zero. I know I'm running pretty rich, I can almost watch my fuel gauge go down considerably from the time I go to work. My fuel corr% is at 0% for thr HI and I think -15% for the LO map (if it's not that then it is at 0%). One thing I was told to try was change the settings from 4 cyl -> to 4 cyl *.* (this makes only one map used instead of two). When I did this though I lost my TPS signal for some reason. I geuss what I'm saying is just play around with your SAFC, but when you change settings do it in slow increments at a time. I'm still working out all the kinks to mine. During boost though my car just seems to scream, it's just driving slow sucks (unfortunately I'm just trying to drive normal which is slow).
