has anyone installed a wideband and found out it was idling and cruising at 17 afr? im a little stuck. Its supposed to be at 14 afr right? what do i do with the stock o2 plug that goes to the ecu because right now its unplugged

u don't remove ur stock 02 sensor... the wideband should be placed more downstream the exh.

You installed the wide band instead of O2 sensor? I thought you had a header on your car? Too bad you aren't SOHC. I could give you a manifold. Maybe you should uninstall WB until you turbo or something.

what he said unless you are running standalone and a wideband that is compatible with said standalone

most wideband companies say to put the sensor 12-36 inches away from the turbo on boosted cars... (idk where you would measure the 12-36 on an n/a car)

as far as the AFR's.. cruising should be somewhat lean (afr greater than 14.7:1) at WOT however, depending on the mods... should be slightly rich (below 14.7:1) anywhere from high 11's (boost) to low to mid 13's (n/a) iirc

if the motor is stock... idk what 'normal' is

you can still run it... just put the stock o2 sensor in

to run the wideband, get a bung that fits the wideband o2 and weld it more downstream after the factory o2 (after all the exhaust runners have met at the collector)

the package came with one, just gotta goto a muffler shop to weld it in
