I got the CA in and running but it's rich like a mofo at idle. It's all a smoke show. This is a rebuilt CA and it's is gas not oil that i'm buring. I tired another maf and ecu. Yet it is still rich. Got vac to the regulator. Tommrow I'm going adjust the TPS to 0.5 cause I'm not sure what it's at now. I'm also going to check the voltage to the injectors. I just need some other ideas on things to check. I absoletly need this car out by weekend or else I would have just tinkered around till I found the problem and not post. If any of you have and ideas or can steer me in the right direction. The car used about 1/4 tank idling for about 40min, how bad this is.

Thanks for your helpNate

Just remember the only thing not hook up is the boost pressure solnoid, under the igniter. I do have a SSQV thats not recir but it was running like this before the bov was installed and runs the same when removed. It is located on the cold side of my fmic setup.

Check all the ground points on the head, had a CA with fully open injectors once.Took me days to find it but it was all about the ground...

A bad O2 sensor will cause your problem, run an ecu diagnostics to see if you have any codes that might steer you in the right direction.

Also, what color are your injectors, just incase your engine came with bigger size injectors and you don't know about it? possible.

Make sure your FPR is hooked up, you have the right spark plugs.

Are you running stock ecu and maf?

Good luck,

O2 sensor is new from nissan as is most of the sensors cause i work at the dealership. I Have 300ZX TT plugs installed, also new. Stock ecu, stock maf. Both ecu's I tired are stock along with the other maf I tired. I'm running out of ideas. I been an apprentice at nissan for 2 years now, I really don't want to bug the techs but I'm running out of ideas? Where is this ground located swedish? I re-wrapped the harness, I may have wrap that groud by accident, you never no. Is it one of the grounds by the injector harness? I got 2 there I grounded on the manifold. The injectors are the yellowish brown colour. I had 2 set cause I had 2 motor set one AWD which I installed and a rwd one for parts.

The ground cables are coming out of the injector harness, jupp.Try to mount an extra ground cable from manifold to chassi, a regular cable or a starter cable for test.

They attatch at two 8mm (IIRC) bolts on the valve cover side of the intake manifold.
