I decided to get all new injectors for my KA24DE. After I installed them and turned the car on, cylinder two was left fully open, and I was shooting unburned gas out of the tail pipe. I decided to replace that injector with a known good inector, and it ran fine the first time I turned the car on. The next time I started the car up, the same injector was not spraying any gas at all. I've tried the new injector and the old injector several times, and I have gotten the same result that it is not spraying fuel.
I have 160-170 compression on all cylinders. I have checked the voltage from the ECU to the injector, the resistance at the injector, and the wiring to the injector, and all check out to be fine. I just replaced my distributor rotor, cap, and wires, and plugs, so I don't have a spark issue. I've replaced the ECU with two others, and neither fixed the issue.
Why is cylinder two not firing? I haven't pulled the fuel rail to see if the injector is working or not, but I am 95% sure that it is not. I was pretty sure that it was an electrical problem, but I cant think of a sensor or anything that would cause one injector to not work. Any ideas?
