well, my number 5 cylinder and number 4 cylinder arent firing... the problem came out of no where while driving one day... ash powers installed my new 740cc deautschwerks injectors, and after swapping spark plugs and coil packs, i am beginning to get the feeling maybe the injectors are at fault (also since there is a strong gas smell)

after swapping around plugs, i threw ecu codes and got a code 34... could this be related? i also noticed a tapping sound that sounds like possibly a bad bearing or rod, but im unsure if the code 34 is related. thanks for the help guys!

Sounds like a fuel leak or bad injector. You may be detonating because you're not getting fuel in that cylinder, or not enough. Could also be a bad o-ring seal on the injector.

Also look at the isolators on the bottom of the injector. They can get pinched during installation and leak, cause the car to run lean.

Code 34 is injectors. Visually inspect the injectors, then ohm test them. Should come out to be 10~14 ohms, IIRC.

If that all checks good, it may be the harness. Also inspect the connectors, as the Z32 is known for its corrosion prone tendencies.

34 is not injectors, it is detonation sensor. It's possible it's a faulty det sensor harness, but I think his 34 problem is independent of the dead cylinder problem he's having.
