Hey guys, I have this random, not so random, problem with my ca18det.

Everything is fine and dandy until a day that hits 30degrees celcius or hotter hits. Then suddenly the car will start to run like crap, bog down and sound like a diesel truck.

This only happens when the car has been sitting out all day in the sun on these days. Could the heat be causing the igniter to fail and then work properly when it's cooled down again?

in these situations, I only drive my car home(it's usually the days I'm at school and it's been sitting in the parking lot all day) like 10 mins away. So, I don't know if the problem goes away after a while. It definitely goes away when I get home and park it, then drive it later in the day when it's cooler.

Is something like this common, or even feasible?
