running like crap "PLEASE HELP"

My 1993 is running like crap. When I first crank it up the engine idles but then it acts like it wants to shut off then goes back. Once it's warmed up it won't idle at all. Also the heads up display and the speedometer have gone out.

I don't know if you did any engine work.. but you might have a crack in your intake manifold gasket. maybe your O2 sensor is bad or you MAFS is bad?

could be alot of stuff anything from bad spark to blown rings. take it to a shop unless u know what u r doin. if u do then do a compression test and maybe change out the spark plugs, wires, check the timing, etc

I'm going with S14Life, it sounds more like a vacuum leak. a car will run relatively well with worn rings, all it will do is smoke.

when i blew my original engine it would hardly idle then die half the time. that was with the compression being 180,180,60,90. but a vaccum leak is possible thats why i said anything from bad spark to worn rings, vaccuum leak is in between
