Running lights not working

Alright so I just bought a 90 300zx n/a. I noticed that my running lights stopped working completely. The only thing that worked was my high beams. So i checked the fuse panel by the clutch and replaced the top row 3rd fuse from left. Well as soon as I turned my lights on again the fuse burnt out. And i was reading on here and someone had a similar problem but he unhooked his cd player. I did that and my lights work fine but now I'm stuck. Any help would be great. Thanks guys.

I would suggest checking grounds and checking the wiring harness for any cuts. There is a large ground by the battery. There is one on the driver's side down past the fuse box, and two on the plenum.
