running light

I know how dumb this is going to sound. My right front running light on my 1995 240sx is out and I have no idea on how to remove the running light. It looks like there is a ball joint that connects it to the headlights. But from what it appears I need to remove either the fender of the bumper to get the headlights out. But the main reason I need to know how to take it off is that my dad wants me to take it to Jotech motorsports to do it when I get my diff. fluid changed and my transmission fluids flushed. Problem with that is that it will be over 300 in total to do it. How do you get the running light out so to save me lots of money.
