Post

I currently have 275 50 Pirelli All Seasons on factory 22", 2016 QX80 Limited and they are coming to the end of their life.
I want to replace with A/Ts and possibly larger. I am also looking at 33 x 12.50s.

Anyone running larger size 22s on stock configuration?
Looking for ideas.

Thank you in advance!

Generally, it's not a great idea to go too much bigger in overall diameter.

However, your current OD is 32.9" and the 33x12.50 is 32.5" (well within the acceptable variation).

So, that won't be a larger tire (height-wise) but the REAL problem you'll run into is rim width.

Your current tires call for a 8.5" wide rim, and the 33x12.50 calls for a 12.5" rim width. Obviously, these are suggestions, but that's a 4" width difference, so unless you have aftermarket wheels and a body lift, the "truck tires" are going to pose a problem (if you can even find a shop to mount them).

Here's four good A/T tires in your size that should accomplish the goal: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSear ... NpDtsH7tOn
