I just recently got my 240 finally running correctly so of course I've been raggin on it a little. I've noticed something strange however when I get into boost. It's really hard to explain, might be easier if I took a video or something, but I'm pretty sure this isn't normal.
Car starts building boost fine between 2500 - 3k rpm's. Accelerates normally, everything seems normal untill I get to 6 or 7 psi. Once I reach a certain point however, the car seems to rev insanely easy and the rpm's will jump really fast untill about 5500 rpm's and then it just hits a wall, like it's hitting a rev limiter. Something doesn't seem quite right to me, once it reaches a certain psi or rpm range the rpm's seem to jump way faster than the car is accelerating. Imagine suddenly throwing the car in neutral while still holding down on the gas as you're cruising down the street, it revs pretty similar to that.
I have no clue what the problem could be, the car drives perfectly even with boost untill I really hammer it/reach a certain rpm range. I have a feeling the car is running a little rich, I'll get some puffs of smoke when I build decent boost and then let off even though my bov is recirculated. Not sure if running rich would have anything to do with those symptoms though.
