I finally got my car running recently and have had a problem that has been occurring. I noticed that when I took it out for a drive, it drove fine if I drove it normal without "getting on it" through out the rpms. However, if I try to do harder acceleration I noticed that it would buck and sounded almost like it was hitting a wall. I had a friend tell me that it could be a fuel problem. Here are my cars mods for reference.

Sr T25 turbo, Walboro fuel pump (previous owner installed), Stock injectors, no exaust right now (have a 3in im installing next week), Spec Clutch

I have a set of Rx7 injectors Im looking to install that were on the previous owners engine. I also have a Z32 Maf laying around. Finally I have a SAFCII that I have not installed yet, but from reading about peoples problems with it might forego doing.

If anyone can give me some advice that would be great.

Cool. I'm in Greensboro rockin stock exhaust too. I'm still learnin myself but I have heard some people say the walbro pumps too much fuel into a stock setup? Not sure just what I heard. Are you running stock boost? I know with my car and the stock exhaust it seems like it it's way too restrictive to get on it. Like the combustion just can't get out fast enough? Just trying to help. Good luck.

Yea, I had a friend that said it could be the walboro overpowering the stock injectors and regulator, but still not sure. I guess I'll see when I put the Rx7 injectors in. Also, Im not running any exaust right now, just dump pipe, however this is a project car so I'm not using it around town (sounds like a truck), but I am putting the 3in Circuit Sports exaust on next week. Anyway, if anyone else has some advice please let me know. Thanks

im not stealing ur thread but since its here i might as well not waste space in the forum and ill help if i can too.i got the same dam prob dude...car ran "ok" when i had the gtr 440s in it but still wouldnt boost right...it boosts kinda but car goes nowhere.i have a ecu by computec and i guess it has no fuel cut, no rev limit and timing or something and a s14 t28 turbo.... ive checked all my vacuum, pulled and regapped spark plugs, and it seems fine but it feels like a timing issue. check your timing bro i dont have time to yet otherwise id tell u if i solved the prob yet or not...its pisin me off lol. but if u figure it out or if more people have input...im all ears cuz i give up. RQ when timing it, the tps sensor is only the one black plug on the TB and nothing else correct?

I'll try to do that procedure some time this week and I'll let you know how it goes. By the way, where is the TPS sensor?? Dumb question?

LOL, on the throttle body? TPS=Throttle Position Sensor. It's where the air goes into your motor. It's a black, rectangular shaped box with a plug on it, and wires that come out of it for another plug.

Dumb questions get dumber answers. My fault, I had a feeling that was it, but I guess I was still asleep when I asked that question. Thanks float, I feel dumb now. HAHA.
