Just finished my 5-speed swap and I have a few issues:

1. When I start the car it will die if I don't give it a little throttle, after that its fine on its own no problems. Also, when this happens the battery light comes on and stays on until I give it throttle, then the light goes away and the car is fine. I've checked the voltage on the alternator and it seems fine, same with the battery. NOTE: The light only comes on if I have things like the heater and radio on when starting the car...if its not on then I don't see the battery light for that brief 1-2 seconds.

2. When the car is cold and I start driving as soon as I let off the pedal to slow down it will jerk as it slows down...not a major issue but its there nonetheless.

*I am still running the auto ECU so I'm aware I'm suppose to have idle issues...but these don't sound like idle issues.

I thought it was the alternator but when I checked it seemed fine.

Nah uh. My car had an auto ECU and it ran fine.

adjust your throttle cable and you should be fine.
