There are many factors to causing the car to idle bad.. If your maf is stock then you should set the Hotwire to 5in5out or 6in6out but i recommend 5in5out, depends on which one idles better and responds to the neo. if that doesnt fix the problem then make sure the maf is about 12 inch away from the turbo.

You should of went E-mance they do a full ecu tune and have timing control for about half the price of the neo. i went from a neo to ecu tune and bigg difference in power and response.

The Emance Rom tune that handles fuel and timing is $150.

The days of the SAFC being a good affordable option are coming to a close. I have always been a supporter of the Piggy Back and MSD BTM as a decent and affordable means for the DIY guy to boost his ride. But there are lot's of really good options now.

IMO, lose the NEO buy the EMance. You can resell the NEO and recoup a few bucks and chalk it up to a learning experience.

i planned on doing that and getting an e-mance, but for now im just trying to get this bish driving. im tired of driving my buddys 1977 ford courier. the damn oil gauge line fell out yesterday and oil shot all over the cap and on me. it's been a rough couple of days. lol i remembered that main vac line that goes to the intake is not hooked up to the ic piping. i beleive that is a big part of the problem. ill fix that today as soon as i get back from school. I personally love having a SAFC with a tuned ECU. It allows you(or a tuner) to fine tune the base line tune thats given to you with the tuned ECU. A rom tune will run and boost great, however it will be on the rich side for safety. With the SAFC you can remove excess fuel and make more power while still being in the safe range. Also, since no engine is exactly the same, you might find spots in the ECU tune that need adjustment.

You go to google, type in E-Mance then hit search. Then you click the first link that pops up.

Or i can just spoon feed you http://www.e-mance.com/

You can get the ecu tune and if that doesnt fix the problem then its something else. Are you sure you got the wiring right for the Afcneo? What is your whole set-up?

I'm thinking your 'Single/Half' setting is buggered up.

Try setting it back to the stock'ish setting. I'm not sure off the top of my head, but I think it's 1/1, or whatever represents that. That setting is rarely used in any of our applications with the MAF's. I could be wrong, though.

Try swapping that setting. And then try the 5in/5out or 6in/6out.

That's all I got.

i'm running 450cc when i was running my AFCneo and everything worked out fine. It shouldnt be that hard to install the chip if you have soldering skills. let us know how it goes. make sure you take out the AFCneo or initialize the neo before you run the ecu.

The Board is super easy to install. Just clean up the board with some acetone or something. There is a waxy coating on it you need to get rid of. Then un-plug the holes that are soldered closed.plug in the little header plug, and solder it back together. It's pretty easy. Just make sure you do the jumper. Or else it will still reference the stock tune.

I'm not sure where the instructions are, but you can e-mail Jason and he'll send you a link to some pretty detailed instructions.
