Running boards of 1997 and 2001 Infiniti-QX4

I have 1997 Infinitive QX4 and I need driver side Front fender @ Running boards and I wonder if they are compatible between two models (1997 & 2001). Please help me. Thanks

It is the same generation of chassis, but they got a facelift and remodel in 2000. New headlights and exterior skin as far as a fender is concerned. Possibly the same mounting points along the fender, but not likely at the headlight. The skin seems to be a different shape than 1997. It appears the horizontal 'crease' either moved or is gone.

This is per my research, not experience. I do not have this vehicle.

By closed looking at pictures of them, I could tell the running boards should be interchangeable (Hope so ???).

i left my running boards off since they were extremely rusted out and i like the look of her better with them off. that's my 2 cents
