All there is --- is one connection....so my question is what wire do I need? Is it an RB part or a Z part? any help appreciated...

Usually you grab the pulse signal off of the vehicle speed sensor (which should already be on the RB transmission). And connect it to the tach.

I am sorry, I do not know the specifics. Better get some instructions. I do know when I wired up my speed sensor in my SX it didnt matter which wire was hooked to which, still read fine.

Generally there is some specific way of calibrating your new speedo to the speed sensor.
