For those of you that installed an amp yourselves, how did you get the power wire from the battery to the interior? It would be nice if there is an opening in the firewall somewhere that can fit a 4 gauge wire, instead of having to drill a hole in the firewall.

Good News...there is ! Take the drivers side foot rest out, and remove the tabs holding the carpet against the fire wall. Up and to the Left of where the foot rest was and under the carpet, there is a black rubber plug that fills a hole in the fire wall. I punched a hole in the rubber plug, and ran my wire through it to keep any stray water from entering the cab of the car. Once you got it through there, run the wire up to the brake master cylinder area that is covered by the black plastic, and run it under the black plastic that covers your winshield washer lines/wiper motors,(remove more black plastic holding tabs) and around into your battery area. It's completely invisible except the fuse in your battery compartment. FYI...Run the heavy duty plastic wire cover that came (or should have come with) with your wire kit over the amp wire between the fire wall, and the master cylinder brake compartment...just as a precaution for any sharp edges or rubbing that may occur in that area. Good luck!

I'll take pictures when I do it, and possibly create a write up of how to do it. I'm thinking of waiting until my 60 warranty is up, just so they cant blame anything on me (I have to take it in to get the transmission looked at).
