I just want to know what would happen if this is done. Running a built stroker motor with lowered compression using the stock ECU. Is the car going to run fine, will it have drivability issues, knock, backfiring, etc...

Please help me out. Thanks in advance.

well i dont know about on a nissan for sure but on my chevy suburban i made a stroker motor out of the olf 350 block, put in 400 crank and bored .030 over, makes it a 383. The compression was like 9.5:1 and the computer doesnt seem to mind too much. you can make adjustments in displacement slightly because what happens when a motor gets typically rebuilt stock. you buy the next size piston, usually .030 or on my friends ka24E .020. This is well within the paramaters of the MAP on the computer. i cannot give a definite answer but as long as you keep it from getting too crazy you will probably be ok
