Well, I'm heading up to MI in a few weeks... and was thinking I might put off doing the FMIC piping until I get up there due to the abundance of mandrel benders and piping up there.

Do you think on low boost the turbonetics T3/T4 will be fine with the stock SMIC? This is mostly for Mack, Wolfgang, Markslidesquad, WD, and Madscientist...

I'm thinking it will be fine for a short term fix (just no auto-x's or things of that nature), but just wanted a second opinion.

To bad I sold the MKIV sidemount I had laying around...

I have been running my stock SMIC with my 56 Trim T3/T4 and it's ok. I am sure I would see a nice increase in topend from a higher flowing FMIC or SMIC. For the stock IC is supose to have a pretty high pressure drop at from 4500 RPMS and up. If I recall I beleave we are taking about 6-7 PSI. That is what I have read from the Aussy board SkylinesDownUnder.

Yours is running on a 25 correct?

This will be on a 20... not sure what the internal is gated at... it's going to be hard not to hook up my Profec B while I wait for the piping...

How hot has it been around you? No det with that boost levels etc... any idea of what A/F levels you are seeing?

It was 90 degree's two days ago and the car did feel sugish. I am only running 9 psi and since my wastegate is vented open I am unable to hear detonation. My wideband A/F shows the car running 13-14:1 as the boost builds and then it drops quickly down to 11:1. It may go lower closer to redline but It's kinda hard to watch the gauge with how fast the car is going.
