O2 levels are down this weekend, from the normal 20.9% to about 18% here in Telluride.

Too damn cold here to snow. High of 17 today. But there is a bit of snow left over from the other day. Looks like snow, but it's frozen solid. Kinda fun to watch the kiddies jump into a rock hard snow drift.

...I'm gonna be the grouchy old man on the block yelling at children when I get old(er), I just know it.

I'm still out here, flying home tomorrow (Tues.).

Actually, that pic was taken just a little while before I had a pretty nasty wreck at about 30mph. Aparently, you're not supposed to cross your skis in a hard right hander.

The term they used to describe it was "yard sale" where everything went...skis, poles, etc.

I have limited movement in my right shoulder still, but I'm still hittin' the slopes.

Today we skied from 11,000ft and later this afternoon we'll be going from about 12,000ft. It's absolutely beautiful here and they have the longest greens in the country (greens are the wussy slopes...yeah, that's me).

BTW, this is my first time ever snow skiing.

Oh yeah, one other thing...we ski from the hotel. Walk out the back door to the ski valet, they hand your boots to you and take your shoes. Then, when you get strapped in and walk outside, they have your skis in the snow with poles standing next to them. You click into the skis, take about two "scoots" then you're on the slope!

One more thing before I go...little kids here tick me off. The 6-8yr olds pass me on the slopes. I wanna hit them with a ski pole, but they're too fast.

My wife is also super fast, but she doesn't fall into the "tick me off" category because she lets me kiss her.

I didn't know this was your first time hitting the slopes. The first time is always one of the best you'll ever have. You should try snowbaording atleast once while you're there.

You'll have to give me some details on the vacation package over AIM when you get back. Walking out the back door of the Hotel and hitting the slopes sounds simply awsome. I can imagine the views from the Hotel don't suck either.

Glad you're having fun man Come back in one piece, we still need KAT videos

Ahh, so you're ticked at the kids cuz they wont let you kiss them?

Just kidding man!

I've been asked to go skiing a few times since I've been in Massachusetts. And they keep telling me since I've never skied before, to just go straight to the board because it's easier to go from board to skis instead of skis to board. But I dunno man, as special and fluffy as snow seems, it sure can put a hurtin' on ya huh? This kinda reminds me of the kids trying to jump into snow drifts out here right now, but they're frozen solid and it's hilarious. But maybe that's just me.Be safe..
