I'm still out here, flying home tomorrow (Tues.).
Actually, that pic was taken just a little while before I had a pretty nasty wreck at about 30mph. Aparently, you're not supposed to cross your skis in a hard right hander.
The term they used to describe it was "yard sale" where everything went...skis, poles, etc.
I have limited movement in my right shoulder still, but I'm still hittin' the slopes.
Today we skied from 11,000ft and later this afternoon we'll be going from about 12,000ft. It's absolutely beautiful here and they have the longest greens in the country (greens are the wussy slopes...yeah, that's me).
BTW, this is my first time ever snow skiing.
Oh yeah, one other thing...we ski from the hotel. Walk out the back door to the ski valet, they hand your boots to you and take your shoes. Then, when you get strapped in and walk outside, they have your skis in the snow with poles standing next to them. You click into the skis, take about two "scoots" then you're on the slope!
One more thing before I go...little kids here tick me off. The 6-8yr olds pass me on the slopes. I wanna hit them with a ski pole, but they're too fast.
My wife is also super fast, but she doesn't fall into the "tick me off" category because she lets me kiss her.
