I have 4 42lb injectors currently installed, I do however have a second Aeromotive rail and another 4 42lb injectors I'd like to install. Any reason I can't tap the existing signal from the stock ecu and power the additional 4 injectors. Lets assume I'm able to control the fuel flow with my SAFC just for the purpose of this thread. I want the extra fuel because I'm using E85 from now on and it needs an additional 20% fuel just to be stoich.

Thoughts?

You can do that, WD, so long as the SAFC has enough correction in it. Since you're running 104 octane, you probably won't suffer any ill-effects from the advanced timing values.

My only concern would be voltage drop across the injectors, being on the same circuit as the others.

I just thought of a crazy idea why not use an emanage blue to control the extra 4 injectors? Nothing else just the injectors. I mean you can pick up a Blue one for like 250 bucks.

Because I have the SAFCII and MSD BTM right now. I'd rather atleast attempt to use what I have. If it doesn't work I'm not buying a piggyback, I'll probably just get a standalone. I still like the SDS. Maybe I'll jump on the rom tuning wagon I dunno.

What kind of voltage drop are we talking about here? Is it enough to effect the firing of the injectors? I don't care if the voltage drops so long as they still open, I can deal with anything else that pops up.

I already have the SAFCII bro...so I'm starting there. I haven't been talked into MS yet. But I haven't read up on it to much either. Although I'm not into building my own board.

There should be a MS thread to discuss it and all its options. I asked for help awhile back on this, but no one did crap.

I would use bigger injectors instead, fragile to run 8 injectors. One gone and a melted piston.

I think it would work. "In theory", your voltage would'nt drop, but your amperage to each injector would. C'mon Brian, I thought you were the type to do it first/ ask questions later. If all els fails, it should be totally reversable.

Oh its gonna be a go...don't you worry about that. I might not even be the first.

Well that same thing could be said for any of the primary 4. That why I have a knock meter and alarm. Losing an injector anytime means bad things for that cylinder, with or without added injectors.

True but 8 is twice the risk.

if its on the same circuit the injector itself would have to completely fail 100% during boost for him to loose a piston...

I'm certain the voltage drop wouldn't be enough to prevent either injector from opening. I'd say go for it.

Definitly going for it, when I pick up my next motor, I'll start on the intake mani. I'd really just like to weld up a whole new one, runners and all but...I dunno. We'll see how things go.
