I always see highly modded supras running like 2 greddy type-s bov's or 2 hks ssqv.... I know there doing it b/c on of the bov leaks/fails at like 500 hp or so.. but would it hurt to put 2 on if your making like 300-450whp??

and would it sound louder since 2 are blowing off instead of one?

^ exactly, one BOV per turbo is what I assumed.

I would think 1 bov would be louder than 2 on the same engine/setup. Since you would only be getting half as much air going through each valve compared to all of it going through one. Correct me if I'm wrong, that's just my guess.

I think the high HP single turbo cars run 2 when 1 just isn't enough, not to make it louder.

I'm giving you this link in the KA-T forum, zerothread?id=479758. Typical of twin-turbo, however I run one on the cold and one on the hot side. I've been doing this since 2003. It's pretty rare for a single turbo engine, but mine has seen benefits of pressure building and reducing when dialed in properly in combination with my EMS 4860 stand-alone. For me it was a safety net at high boost ... I've run upwards of 28lbs with my T67. And to answer your question, no it wouldn't hurt.

It's really relieving pressure from both the hot and cold side at different intervals. Like I said, tuning is key. You could run a bigger BOV, but your last statement sums it up for me.
